Creative Ventures
Art has always been one of my favorite things to do, from the craft kits I made when I was little to the pieces I make on my own now. Using my hands to create works of art is fulfilling to me. My artistic ability continues to develop as I try new art forms all the time. My high school art classes have been especially helpful, because they've allowed me to work with more materials than I would even think of using if I was on my own.
Colored pencils and oil pastels are my favorite media for two-dimensional pieces. (I like painting too, but I'm not that good at it!) For 3D pieces, I've found that I like using clay and plaster, and just recently I discovered wire as a medium for sculpting. You'll notice that animals are my favorite subject matter!
